About
Jue Wang (Jake) is a student at Georgetown University with a major in physics and a minor in economics. His works include a variety of topics ranging from contemporary issues to street photography to abstract art. With a particular interest in film photography, Jake has tried to document the lives of different groups of people in the world using 35mm analog film. He also possesses some gelatin silver prints of his earlier works of Boston historic sites where his interest in film photography started. As he dived deeper into the field of physics and photography, he began to see the connection between the two and decided to construct his own perceptual world based on the physical laws and his experience. Jake has been awarded a bronze from the 2023 Tokyo International Foto Awards and a honorable mention from the 2024 International Photography Awards.
